OUR CAUSES

OUR CAUSES
Our Causes & Help Us
In Dzaleka, about 90% of people suffer from physical, psychological, and mental illnesses as a result of being exposed to traumatic events, including war, violence, death, and the harsh camp living conditions, which aggravate the traumatic experiences.

At Art for Hope, we use the arts as a powerful form of therapy to inspire hope and resilience among refugees. Through drawings, music, dance, and poetry, we create a safe space for healing and self-expression.
Our recording studio allows artists to refine their talents and share their stories.

We empower refugees in Dzaleka by breaking down educational barriers. Our innovative programs provide essential literacy, vocational training, and mindfulness education, fostering personal and community growth.
Join us in creating brighter futures
Physical health is integral to overall well-being. Our sports programs, including gym sessions, aerobic dance, and jogging, encourage active lifestyles and foster camaraderie. Our annual 5K run not only raises awareness about refugees but unites the community in support of our mission.

Our emergency response initiatives supply essential food, clothing, and resources to vulnerable families in refugee camps, addressing immediate needs and ensuring that no individual is overlooked.

Inclusivity is at the heart of our mission. At the Respite Care Center and the MUTU Education Through Play Center, we offer specialized yoga and mindfulness programs for children with disabilities, ensuring they receive the support and care they need to thrive in a loving environment.
