Jessy Mary

Community Champion

In the heart of our community stands Jessy, a beacon of hope and compassion. For over 15 years, she's been a steadfast presence, living and working in the refugee camp she now calls home.

Driven by a deep desire to uplift the lives of refugees, Jessy joined our organization as a catalyst for change. With boundless energy and unwavering determination, she orchestrates fundraising events, clothing drives, and a myriad of initiatives aimed at making a tangible impact.

Affectionately known as "Mama Michael," Jessy's warmth and resilience touch the lives of all who know her. But her dedication doesn't stop there. Beyond her role with Art for Hope, she serves as a preschool coordinator at Fraternity Without Borders, leading the Ubuntu Nation Project in the Madzi village.

Through this project, Jessy extends the gift of education to refugees in Dzaleka and Malawian children, fostering a sense of unity and belonging within the community.

Jessy's story is a testament to the power of compassion and the difference one person can make.

Join us in celebrating her tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to building a brighter future for all.
